I did a complete flush and replaced with Royal Purple on a 2001 Dodge Ram Diesel. Didn't notice any difference in performance from using valvoline sinthetic.
Bottom line- better than non-synthetic but overpriced, there are other synthetic powersteering fluids out there for alot cheeper.

I flushed out my system on my 99 K1500 Suburban I am pleased with all their products. As always, this is a great product. I changed out my daughter's fluid - 96 Chev Lumina. Breathed new life in the steering column. Also put it in my 2004 GMC Yukon. Use to make a popping sound. Sound has gone a way.

I'm a complete royal purple fan, but I will have to admit the effects are not too noticeable. Yes the steering seems very smooth, I don't think it's night and day difference, it's just nice to know that a very high quality product is being used in something that is so important to using a car. I have used their oil for over 30,000 miles on my Chevrolet Cavalier and am completely impressed with that. This is just a nice addition to the car.
