This mini-tachometer has a white face with a dial measuring 2 5/8-in and a subtle metallic body with a smooth black bezel. It has a 0 to 8000 RPM range and internal settings for 4, 6, 8 cylinder and 12-volt negative ground engines. It has internal dial lighting, a 250-degree dial sweep, and is compatible with most automotive ignition systems including standard or electronic distributors, distributorless systems, and most aftermarket systems, excluding magnetos. It has a fast needle response and covers 90-percent of full scale in 4/10th of a second.

I had very limited space in a 1946 Chevy pu project for a tach. This one worked perfect for locating in the overhead cover above windshield. Easy to wire & nice smooth needle operation. I bought a second one for another project. This is not for racing but is nice for ocassional referrence while street driving.

I bought this for my 1999 Hyundai Elantra GL that had no tach. I bought this, and it works perfectly! They say give or take 200 RPM, but this is dead on. I love it and if I get a new car, I will definitely buy one of these!

I purchased this for my 1990 Ramcharger that came with no factory tach. I wanted to see just how hard I was "punishing" my 318 going up those hills towing. It has worked flawlessly, and I chose it specifically because of its small size. It doesn't block my view of other guages, and the color (black) blends in with my steering column. Drag racers will want something bigger, but for a street car or truck, I recommend this one. It's actually easier to read (day or night) for its size than I expected, with its white face & orange pointer.
